There's something about fresh squeezed lemonade that screams summer to me. My hands always smell lemony fresh after making it and a nice tall, cold glass of it makes my heart sing.
This recipe is super easy-peasy lemon-squeezy (see what I did there?!). I just take my trusty vintage glass juicer to squeeze out the lemon juice, pour it into a pitcher with sugar and top it off with ice cold water.
Then voila, homemade lemonade!

3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
5 Cups Cold Water
1. Warm Lemons in microwave for 20-30 seconds. Cut lemons in half and squeeze out as much juice as possible. I use my trusty old vintage glass lemon juicer, but this one is very similar!
2. Dissolve sugar by combining it with 1 cup warm water. Pour into pitcher and add lemon juice.
3. Stir in cold water and ice cubes (optional)
4. Top pitcher or glasses with sliced lemons or sprigs of mint (optional)
